egg recall
The diarrhea lettuce wasn’t enough, now there’s contaminated eggs too. There’s not many meals that my bachelor-ized skill set allows me to cook. Without lettuce, no tacos. With no eggs, no breakfast beyond a protein bar. Somebody get these diseased foods under control!

The only thing worse than testing positive for the diarrhea parasite is testing negative; your diarrhea is naturally so horrendous, you thought you were sick.
cardinals vs cubs
Here we have our usual scores update search. The cubs win 3-0.
jason arday
This is saddening news about Arday’s passing, especially considering he was a father, partner, brother, and uncle.
In the past few weeks, Arday was accused of plagiarism, resigned from his Cambridge position, and released his memoir, “Great and Unfortunate Things.” I assume that this was a suicide amidst serious stress, which is a terrible shame.

Academic plagiarism, especially at one of the world’s premier university like Cambridge, is not to be taken lightly. Distrust in institutions already runs rampant, as seen in Trump’s election and staffing choices. This likely made the dialogue around Arday worse, and his high profile career and public recognition even more so.
This story is yet another reminder that behind all the online scrutiny, there are real people. Someone is there to absorb the praises, criticisms, and vitriol that we all spit out.
