I was lucky enough to be in Billings, MT in 2023 to see a 68% eclipse and it was super interesting. My friends and I joked that if we were born in the prehistoric times, seeing an eclipse would leave you with no other option than to create a religion.

Throughout my voting years, I have lived in Wyoming and Montana. Both states have been solidly red states for more than 30 years, so my vote often doesn’t feel important (Yes, I know it’s our civic duty, it DOES matter, blah blah blah). But for these Wisconsin voters, their vote matters practically, as well as in principle.
